NYSCOS Hub Use Notice

Scope and Purpose
This notice applies to nyscos.org and the NYSCOS Hub, operated by New York State Certified Officials of Soccer, Inc. ("NYSCOS"). The Hub provides public information, member resources, contact routing, and administrative support for NYSCOS and affiliated local boards. By using the Hub, you agree to use it consistently with this notice and applicable NYSCOS rules.
Accounts and Access
Provide accurate information, use only your own account, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly report suspected account misuse. Do not share credentials or allow another person to use your role-based access. NYSCOS may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect people, records, the Hub, or NYSCOS operations. Hub access is separate from membership rights or obligations under NYSCOS or local board rules.
Acceptable Use
Use the Hub only for lawful, NYSCOS-related purposes. Do not submit false or unlawful material; impersonate another person; harass others; scrape, harvest, or use directory information for unrelated marketing; introduce malicious code; interfere with the Hub; probe for vulnerabilities; bypass role controls; or access, copy, or disclose information beyond the access NYSCOS has given you.
Information You Submit
Submit only information you are authorized to provide. You permit NYSCOS to review, reproduce, route, and retain a submission as reasonably needed to respond, administer NYSCOS activities, protect the Hub, and maintain appropriate records. Do not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, payment-card details, medical information, or confidential grievance or disciplinary material through a general Hub form unless NYSCOS specifically directs you to an approved channel for that information.
Official Information and Decisions
NYSCOS intends to keep Hub information current, but official bylaws, board actions, written notices, approved records, and governing-body decisions control if there is a conflict. Hub content is general administrative information, not legal advice, and does not guarantee assignments, scheduling, certification, payment, reimbursement, or membership status. Report suspected inaccuracies through the contact page.
Third-Party Services and Purchases
The Hub may link to services operated by others, including store, form, document, map, authentication, and email services. Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use them, and NYSCOS does not control their availability or operation. Capelli Sport, not the Hub, handles store checkout, payment, fulfillment, returns, and customer-service terms. NYSCOS receives order information only when it is provided or forwarded for NYSCOS credit tracking or related administration.
Availability and Changes to the Hub
The Hub may be changed, corrected, limited, or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security, operational, or other reasons. NYSCOS does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Preserve any confirmation or official record you may need rather than relying on continuous Hub availability.
Ownership
NYSCOS or its licensors, as applicable, own or control the Hub content, name, marks, logos, official records, and software made available through the Hub, except where identified third parties own the applicable rights. Access to the Hub does not transfer ownership. You may use materials only for their stated NYSCOS, personal, or official purpose and subject to any restriction shown with the material.
Changes to This Notice
NYSCOS may update this notice as the Hub and its practices change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes may also be highlighted on the Hub or through another reasonable notice.
